I have had a thriving career in real estate as a hall of fame associate with RE/MAX for 21 of 23 years. So if you are still hanging in there in this marketplace, we may have a lot in common. In my area there are many professionals trying to hold on that are frantic to bring back the glory days, not a part of the modern market.

Just not many years ago the sky was the limit, but as they say all things that go up must come down. Prices skyrocketing, high commissions steadily rolling in and then the market shifted. Veterans with knowledge are aware that it was an unavoidable phase, the sub-prime market dried up, foreclosures increased dramatically, prices declined and short sales became the law instead of the exception.

As an eternal Optimist and a expert that had been through many inferior or miserable markets, Before I knew it there was a cost of staying afloat, I found myself $80,000 in debt, struggling to make the monthly payments and keep my home.

It was then that I realized, this was not a wayward market, but a newborn market and not going anywhere for some time to come. At that time the web was looking very attractive so I started, looking for a home internet business. Not having online business or internet marketing experience, I searched for a home internet business that offered internet marketing training and earnings, so I could learn as I earned. Finding the right opportunity took time, but it was well worth the research. I found an internet marketing training company that allowed me to not only recover from a critical condition, but to give me an excitement not felt since starting in a real estate career. The sky could have fallen on me and I would beleive I there is no better biz op for someone without a trade or college education than a real estate career or being mortgage professional, I would have said "you were crazy."
Wow, would I have been wrong. No more working, spending months with prospects and not going to settlement or getting paid. No 24/7 emails and calls or time spent away from family. No more 7 days, 70 hour work weeks or long weekend vacations.

An Internet Marketing Career is hands down the best business opportunity in the world. With a marketplace of 1.5 billion people, growing by 100,000 a day and the potential is unlimited as you are doing business from anywhere in the world. I am happier than ever and At 52 years of age a new career is something to look forward too, There is no reason a home internet marketing career is not the answer at midlife, so another 20 years it will be.
